Mother's Day Card!!

I finally got to sit down last week because I needed a few Mother's Day cards. This is what I came up with. I really like the Sweet Summer stamp set and hope it makes it into the big cattie.
I cut the flowers out and popped them with a dimensional. I like the look!! I have seen similar cards, but like my take on it.

Card Recipe:
Cardstock: Rich Razzleberry, Pear Pizzazz, Whisper White
Inks: Stazon Black, Rich Razzleberry, Pear Pizzazz, Summer Sun

MIA

Sorry I have been missing in action for so long. Dealing with issue with my 17 year old daughter who is now known as "THE BEAST". lol I haven't created for a while but I did take pics of my craft room since it has been clean for a while now. I thought I would show you where I do my creating when I am able to get in there!!

This first pic is as you walk in the door! Of course, my craft mate had to be in the pic. That is my dog Akkita!! This is where I have my punches and my craft totes.

This pic shows where I have my 8 1/2 x 11 cardstock, all my large Sizzix dies, my envelopes, my non-Stampin' Up! designer paper. On the Ikea shelf are all my tools I need. In the large red totes are my finish projects, in the drawer units are all my tools, tapes, glues, my ribbon storage is in the white Making Memories ribbon holders. On top of the unit is my non-Stampin' Up! 12 x 12 cardstock, my idea books and print outs. My main desk area and on the wall is where I store my embellishments. You gotta love Ikea!!!

In this pic is the other side of my desk. In the white cabinets are all my stamps.

And last, but not least...are my paper racks for all my Stampin' Up! 12 x 12 cardstock and my DSP.

Not a large room, but it has everything I need and I love being able to leave it a mess and close the door when I am in the middle of a project. Hope you enjoyed the photos!!!

Guy Card!!

I needed a guy card for a co-workers birthday. I printed this off at one time but there is no name on the photo. So, if it is yours let me know and I will give you credit. I did change it up a bit because I didn't have everything she used on her card, but I always change something anyway!!
I wanted it to look like there was oil on the card, so I crinkled the paper and dabbed the basic black stamp pad over the top and on the edges. I also ran it over the embossing in the back and on the edges of the cogs.
Card Recipe:
Cardstock: Night of Navy, Whisper White, Basic Grey, Dark Grey
Ink: Basic Black, Night of Navy
Stamp Sets: Motorcycle, not sure which stamp set I got the words from
Embellishments: Cog Punch, Modern Label punch, antique silver brad, lattice embossing folder

It's been awhile!

I have been missing in action lately. It has been very busy at our house since the new year. I am starting school and trying to get everything organized so that it goes smoothly. I haven't even had time to step into my craft room and I am starting to jones for my crafting fix! lol Hopefully, in the next 2 weeks things will calm down and I can get crafting again.
